CONCUSSION & mTBI

Headache
When you get a concussion, it's like what happens when your car tire hits a curb. Your car gets out of alignment, and now it shakes when you go too fast. That shaking is like the headache you're having after a concussion. Just like the car that is out of alignment, your brain and eyes are most likely out of alignment, causing you headaches.

This is Post Trauma Vision Syndrome (PTVS), which is a Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD) secondary to Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS).

…It's not good for your car if you continue to drive it when it is out of alignment and shaking as it drives. Your brain, like your car, needs to be fixed, and it's a better investment to fix it sooner rather than later.

If your brain is not fixed, it will adapt to where it is, rather than go back to where it should be.

Just like the car that hit the curb and is out of alignment, we can tell if you are out of alignment and fix it.

“Eye therapy has noticeably improved my vision and reduced symptoms that came from my concussion. All the activities were like games and fun to do. Everyone working at the office was so kind and welcoming. I would recommend eye therapy to others!” - Venessa
