Our Virtual Telemedicine Assessments are our most effective solution to serve you from a distance. Rest assured, we obtain the same measurements by telemedicine as we do in person, and they are directly comparable.
With that in mind, we have developed a system that allows us to do a complete Functional Vision Assessment for concussion and TBI following the same format that we do in person. We do this using a web-based video conferencing platform that is designed according to telemedicine laws for security and privacy. In order to access this service, you must have a current copy of your up-to-date glasses prescription, and you must have a report of your recent full eye exam with ocular health assessment.

How Our Virtual Assessments Work

VIRTUAL VISION THERAPY
Access care from the comfort of your own home, and from anywhere in Ontario.Our virtual Vision Therapy programs follow the same structure and programming as our in-clinic offerings. Weekly and monthly options are available as prescribed by your doctor upon completing an evaluation. All virtual vision therapy is conducted using a secure telemedicine platform, and we send you a toolkit containing all of the supplies you require for success in virtual Vision Therapy.
When enrolled in our weekly virtual vision therapy program, you will meet with a vision therapist for one hour each week. During your sessions, your vision therapist instructs and observes as you do various vision therapy activities together, with home activities prescribed. Completion of home activities between weekly sessions is imperative to your success in a vision therapy program. These activities usually take 20 minutes a day and are to be done five days a week. We assess progress every 12 weeks throughout your program.
